Offline games stay on your device

Offline games and settings are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Clearing website data deletes them. Kỳ Viện does not automatically upload offline history to the server.

Accounts and online games

Email, display name, sessions, game events and ratings are stored to provide the service. Session cookies use HttpOnly. We do not scan your device or install tracking software.

Hidden chess

The identities of unrevealed pieces are not sent to players or spectators. Public replays retain only the information revealed during the game.
